\this is a blog that I set up in the hopes of fostering understanding about all things arts and culture. It’s about tackling subjects in the hope that you can enjoy them better. The title of the blog comes from Yotsubato!, a comic about a young Japanese girl and the way she lives and learns. The tag line at the start of each chapter is “As Always, Today is the Most Enjoyable Day” and it’s that kind of wide eyed wonder at the world that I want to emulate on this blog.
